The Untold Story of King Hezekiah | He Survived Assyria and a Death Sentence | Full Bible Story

This video tells the untold story of King Hezekiah, the king of Judah who faced the Assyrian Empire, survived a deadly illness, and received fifteen more years of life. You’ll understand how Hezekiah’s reforms, prayers, confrontation with Sennacherib, healing, pride, and encounter with Babylon shaped the future of Judah. King Hezekiah is remembered as one of Judah’s most faithful kings, but his full story is far more complex than the famous Assyrian siege of Jerusalem. This documentary follows Hezekiah from the failures of his father Ahaz to the reopening of the Temple, the destruction of Nehushtan, the great Passover, and his rebellion against Assyrian domination. We then follow Sennacherib’s invasion, the fall of Judah’s fortified cities, the threats against Jerusalem, Hezekiah’s prayer, and the dramatic deliverance described in Scripture. The story continues through Hezekiah’s near-fatal illness, the fifteen additional years granted to him, the visit of Babylonian envoys, Isaiah’s warning, and the rise of Manasseh. Discover the victories, failures, faith, pride, and lasting legacy behind one of the Bible’s most fascinating kings. ▶ Watch more Full Bible Stories:    • The Best 2026 – The Story of the Bible   MAIN BIBLE SOURCES 2 Kings 16–20 2 Chronicles 28–32 Isaiah 7, 36–39 Numbers 21:4–9 Proverbs 25:1 INTERPRETATION NOTE This documentary distinguishes between what Scripture states directly, reasonable conclusions drawn from the biblical text, historical context, and cinematic interpretation.
