No soaking in alcohol for long time, no beating of eggs or butter with a beater!. Yes, a Plum Cake that anyone can easily make and that is exactly the purpose of this video. I have demonstrated in detail on how you can make a bakery style plum (or fruit) cake without soaking in alcohol for a long period, yet it taste the same!. In this video, I have shown the baking using a convection oven at 180 deg Fahrenheit. Baking can be accomplished using different appliances. The temperature and time of preparation may vary on the appliance you have. Thus, please do check the manual for ideal temperature and time for baking. Tip : If the middle of the cake contracts during the baking, it is because you have opened the door of the oven before the cake is set.
