Our FIRST Canadian Rockies Road Trip… We Saw a BEAR!? | Horse Riding in Banff, Lake Louise and MORE!

Our first road trip through the Canadian Rockies! 🇨🇦🇬🇧 We spent a few days exploring Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Johnston Canyon, and managed to fit in horse riding, hiking, camping and a few unexpected wildlife encounters along the way. We saw a black bear and a bull elk while horse riding, which definitely wasn’t something we expected to experience! 😂 We’re trying to make the most of our time in Canada without spending a fortune, so we’re doing our best to explore on a budget and make the most of everything this country has to offer. We’ll be sharing more of our adventures as we continue travelling and settling into life here. Jasper was particularly special to visit after the devastating wildfires in July 2024. The fires destroyed homes and businesses and had a huge impact on the people who live there. It’s hard to think about how much the community has been through, but it’s also incredible to see how people have come together to support one another and rebuild. Recovery is still ongoing, and supporting local businesses and tourism is one way visitors can help the community move forward. Jasper is such a beautiful place, and we hope it continues to recover and thrive. Thanks for watching!
