Matt Eberflus has built one of the strangest coaching résumés in NFL history. Before becoming the head coach of the Chicago Bears, Eberflus was widely respected as a defensive coach, working his way from Missouri to the NFL and eventually becoming the Colts' defensive coordinator. But once he became a head coach, everything changed. From his 14–32 record, to repeated late-game collapses, questionable clock management, and the infamous Thanksgiving loss to the Lions, Eberflus quickly developed a reputation as one of the worst head coaches in the NFL.
