The ENGL Savage 120 was my main live amp for years. Now I'm checking out the new ENGL Savage 30 (E611) — a smaller, 30-watt take on an amp I've always had a soft spot for. In this episode of Ola Testing Shit, I run through the controls, talk about the EL34 power section, and put the lead channel through plenty of riffs and chugs. I test the low/high gain modes, contour switch and depth boost, try some different tunings with the Chug Capo, and yes... check the clean channel too. Does it still have that Savage feel?
