We Carried Flat Cut Logs Across the Beach for 5 Hours (Never Again)

This one hurt. To build the upper deck and roof of the beach fort, we needed big flat cut logs. The only way to get them there was to carry them down the beach ourselves. It took 5 hours of hauling, rolling, dragging and questioning our life choices. This is the least glamorous part of building a fort and probably the hardest.
