Valdresflye is a mountain plateau located in Innlandet County, Norway. Route 51 crosses this plateau from north to south, with the highest elevation at 1,389 meters. This drive takes you from Øvre Sjodalsvatnet, a lake situated north of the plateau, to Beitostølen, a small village in the southern part of the plateau. At the midpoint of your journey, you will notice a rock balanced on top of another rock to your right. This is named as Steinplassen, a natural stone monument that stands out uniquely on the plateau.
