You prayed. And the anxiety was still there in the morning.
And somewhere in the gap between what you believe and what you feel,
a quiet question has been forming — one you've been afraid to say out loud:
"Does this mean I don't really trust God?"
No. It doesn't mean that.
This video is for anyone who has carried the weight of anxiety and the
weight of shame about the anxiety simultaneously — the person who knows
the verses about peace and still wakes at 3am with their chest already
tight. Who has faith and fear at the same time. Who has been quietly
wondering if that combination disqualifies them.
It doesn't.
Tonight we go to the Garden of Gethsemane — to the night Jesus said
"My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death" — and we
look honestly at what anxiety means, what it doesn't mean, and what God
actually does when He finds you in the middle of it.
He doesn't stand back and wait for you to calm down.
He draws near.
