Tugtog ng Aliwan 2024: Lakbayaw Festival | Aliwan Fiesta 2024

Lakbayaw Festival or the Sto. Niño de Tondo is one of the most-awaited festivals in the month of January. It is the biggest event in Manila participated by thousands of devotees every year. The events kicks-off with the traditional procession of devotees dancing on the street while carrying images of the Child Jesus; a pagoda carrying an old image Sto. Niño will lead the parade with 20 smaller boats. This fluvial celebration attracts thousands of tourists who came to hear the beat of the bass drums, visitors clad in colorful dresses and the street dancers shouting “Viva el Sto. Niño!”
