A surreal reimagining of Shahrokh's beloved classic «Marghoob», staged as a Wizard of Oz for one: a white studio opens into a Technicolor backlot where nothing hides its strings — cardboard eyes drop in on ropes, a giant green mulberry becomes a ride, a mirror refuses to obey, and a yellow brick road leads to a crimson city built of arches and chrome. Three snaps that should send her home only crack the glass. She never leaves. She never intended to. Every frame keeps the artifice in view — painted skies, green screens, ladders against the clouds — because the film is honest about being a film. 1939 soundstage grammar, René Magritte's quiet impossibilities and Anish Kapoor's mirrors and voids, folded into one seamless loop through the singular vision of Farbod Mehr.
