I somehow beat this on my first practice attempt and then proceeded to get rinsed by the first fight twice in a row and then the viles/chaingunners fight, on my actual attempts, before getting the exit on the fourth attempt. Hardest fight might actually be the viles and chaingunners. You can get stuck trying to run around the... tomb?... in the middle and then get zapped off the ledge. I definitely played the final area too safe and easily had the supplies to take more risks there.
