ज्योतिष सिर्फ Kundli नहीं है! | The 3 Skandhas of Jyotiṣa — Siddhānta, Horā & Saṁhitā | ॐ तत् सत् ॥

In the classical tradition, The Three Skandhas of Jyotiṣha, are generally presented as: 1. Siddhānta / Gaṇita 2. Horā 3. Saṁhitā This explanation focuses on the traditional Sanskrit Jyotiṣha texts and śhāstric framework, rather than modern psychological astrology or Western astrology. 🔱 Horā, Gaṇita और Saṁhitā — क्या है असली Vedic Jyotiṣha? ज्योतिष सिर्फ Kundli नहीं है! In this video, we explore the Three Skandhas (त्रिस्कन्ध) of Jyotiṣa and understand the deeper structure of the traditional Jyotiṣa Śāstra through the lens of classical Indian texts. The traditional Jyotiṣa system is much broader than simply reading a birth chart. It encompasses Siddhānta/Gaṇita, Horā and Saṁhitā — three interconnected dimensions of Jyotiṣa. ✨ In this video, we explore: 🔹 Siddhānta / Gaṇita — The astronomical and mathematical foundation of Jyotiṣa, including planetary positions, movements, time calculations, eclipses and calendrical principles. 🔹 Horā — The branch dealing with Jātaka, planetary indications, Rāśi, Bhāva, Yoga, Daśā, Praśna and other traditional methods of understanding individual life and timing. 🔹 Saṁhitā — The broader dimension of Jyotiṣa dealing with rainfall, agriculture, natural phenomena, kingdoms, society, omens, architecture and other terrestrial and collective subjects. 🌿 Why this matters - The purpose of this series is to explore Jyotiṣa through its traditional Sanskrit texts and śāstric framework, rather than reducing Jyotiṣa to modern horoscope interpretations. From Kāla (Time) and celestial calculations to Horā, Jātaka, Praśna, Muhūrta and Saṁhitā, we will gradually explore the depth and breadth of this ancient knowledge tradition. 🙏 Welcome to The Vedic Frequency.
