After a long night caring for my son who's still recovering from fever and cough, I took a quiet solo drive to LBC to send off some important papers to Japan - part of the process for my tax refund and lump sum. It felt like a small step forward, and I'm thankful for it. When I got home, I shared coffee with my brother — a small moment, but full of warmth and comfort. In the garden, something beautiful was happening: we started building a bamboo fence. It's not just about fixing or decorating the space... it's about grounding myself, finding healing in nature, and moving through life one slow, meaningful step at a time.
