World Ballet Day 2025: Bringing Ballet to Our Community

On World Ballet Day 2025, we celebrate the belief that ballet and the arts belong to everyone. Ballet in the Square brought this spirit to life as nearly 300 young dancers and teachers from four Greenwich schools came together to fill Artillery Square with movement, joy, and community. This special outdoor event is part of the Acosta Dance Foundation’s Education and Community Programme, championing creativity, collaboration, and accessible dance opportunities for all children. Through the guidance of their teachers and the enthusiasm of our volunteers, these young dancers transformed the square into a vibrant stage open to the whole community.
