Is the "Ideal" tyre pressure really the best place to run your tyres? Tonight, we're heading over to Brands Hatch's Indy circuit with the Copa B Cooper to carry out a very simple test to (hopefully) show one way or the other. Brands Indy is perfect for this test because it never gives the tyres a real chance to properly recover. With the Cooper being FWD and with an open diff, the front tyres are naturally sensitive to their wear rate. This will be a very relaxed stream. Once the testing has been done, I'll jump into a race that will test any conclusions we reach.
