MANTLE 5 (1993) OST - PETAL DANCE

Seriously, I'm physically incapable of hearing those high piano notes, let alone transcribing them. Props to them. [IC] This is one of the funniest battles in the game. I can't believe that halfway through the battle the game forces you into a court minigame where you have to present evidence. It's hilarious, and a great usage of the otherwise underutilised KEY ITEMS bar on the left (which are typically pointless because you have a menu for those anyway). I always find dodging and attacking the blue flower's bullet patterns really tough, though. (So, yeah. I had trouble with this cover. A lot of trouble... Not only are certain parts of Petal Dance completely inaudible to me, but getting the track to sound 'full' without tarnishing it was more difficult than you'd think. After a certain point I gave up and started over again, and this was the result of that. I had to use someone else's recreation for parts of the backing because I just couldn't bear the thought of having my cover be slightly inaccurate. The thing is, I can hear some parts of the background instruments - enough where I can pick up on them - but transcribing them is just a whole other ordeal. Anyway, I'm burnt out now. I should really rest. I... don't make this many covers in such a short amount of time, usually... The gap is usually several weeks to months between each one, lol.
