Understand the question, but your mind goes blank when it's your turn to answer? Use one simple routine: a moment, a point, a sentence. Practice calm beginnings with Emma and David using shadowing in English. Level: A2–B1. Day 10 takes you through three everyday situations: • A question at a photography club • Talking about evening classes over lunch • An unexpected question at a neighborhood planning table 🎯 What you'll practice: ✅ Giving yourself a moment: "Let me think for a second." ✅ Choosing one example: "The first thing that comes to mind is…" ✅ Sharing an unfinished preference: "I haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning toward…" ✅ Being honest when you don't know: "I don't know yet, but I can check." ✅ Starting with one useful sentence, not a perfect speech 🎧 How to practice: 1. Try the three speaking challenges, then compare with our example answers. 2. Shadow the short thinking phrase and the answer that follows. 3. Choose one beginning and use it in your next conversation. You don't need to fill every silence. A thoughtful moment is allowed. Missed a word instead of going blank? Watch Day 9: (   • Missed What They Said? Say These in Englis...  ) 💬 Your turn! What's one thing you'd like to try this month? Answer in the comments, starting with a thinking phrase if it helps. ▶ Day 10 of the English Speaking Routines series.
