Range Report: Wilson Combat Division 77 Project 1 - Wilson’s experimental double-stack 1911

In this Range Report, I get the opportunity to shoot and review a limited-edition pistol from Wilson Combat’s R&D division, known as Division 77. This is the Project 1, a modern double-stack 1911 chambered in 9mm that takes a different approach from the traditional 2011-style design. The Project 1 incorporates a number of modern upgrades, advanced features and refinements intended to deliver the reliability, accuracy and speed expected from a high-end performance pistol. As the first project from Division 77, it also represents an interesting look at what Wilson Combat is developing for the future. In this video, I take the Project 1 to the range to see how it performs. Is it accurate? Is it reliable? How does it shoot? And do its unique features and design live up to the expectations surrounding a limited-edition Wilson Combat pistol?
