Lay It Down 🎵

Lay It Down is a call to release the things that can quietly become idols: status, validation, appearance, pride, control, wealth, lust, power, and the endless desire to be seen. The song confronts the emptiness of building a life around what looks impressive from the outside while the soul becomes increasingly starved within. What good is gaining everything the world can offer if, in the process, you lose your peace, your integrity, or yourself? At its heart is a call to surrender. Not surrender as defeat, but as freedom—the willingness to release the identities, ambitions, attachments, and false measures of worth that were never meant to carry the weight of your life. The imagery of laying down crowns, stripping away false glory, and being purified by fire points toward a different kind of wealth: a humble heart, a clear conscience, faith, and a life rooted in what actually lasts. The world says accumulate more. Heaven says lay it down. Because sometimes the greatest act of freedom isn't getting another thing. It's realizing what you no longer need to carry. ✨ Signals of Selah is a music project exploring faith, healing, transformation, freedom, identity, and the beauty found in becoming more fully who you are. 🎵 Lay It Down 🎤 Signals of Selah #SignalsOfSelah #LayItDown #ChristianMusic #Faith #Surrender #Humility #Purification #SpiritualGrowth #LetGo #WalkByFaith #God #Transformation
