1953 & 1954 Mount Druitt Motor Races, Sydney NSW.

Short film of some of the Sedan, MG and Racing Cars of the 1950s. The 1953 colour clip of Racing Cars features David McKay spinning his MG TC Special (ex-Cobden) on his own oil, Tom Sulman in the Maserati 4CM, the Brydon MG Special, Bill Clarke in the HRG and Jack Brabham in his rear-engined Cooper. Jack puts his speedway skills to good use by sliding through the corner of the oily road. The 1954 colour clip of Racing Cars features Lex Davison in the HWM, Dick Cobden in the Ferrari 125, Jack Brabham ‘Redex Special’ Cooper-Bristol, Bill Ford in the Hudson special. The Sedan races have Holden, Peugeot, Citroen, Morris, Fiat, Austin, Dodge, etc with drivers such as David McKay and Tom Geoghegan. Les Cosh is amongst the sedans with the Aston Martin DB2, I wasn’t able to identify most of the races, if you know please leave a comment.
