Aiwa CS-300Z Portable Stereo Radio Cassette Recorder Boombox 1983

A very cool looking entry level boombox from the early 80s with soft-touch mechanical logic control. The Aiwa CS-300U is a classic portable stereo boombox from the early 1980s (with a motor date code around 1983) featuring a 4-band radio and a cassette deck. The radio bands include FM, Medium Wave (AM), and two bands of Shortwave (SW). Audio & Inputs features an auxiliary input (line-in) that disables the radio when a device is plugged in, a full-size headphone jack, and a piezo tweeter. It is world-voltage compatible. Operates 110 / 220 V AC power, on 9V, and requires six D-cell batteries. Cassette Deck: Uses soft-touch mechanical logic control with support for normal and metal tape settings. This is freshly restored Aiwa boombox with new belt and clean play-heads. Both the radio and the cassette player sections work perfectly. Shipping details in the Gary Audio web shop.
