Mick Hucknall - American Soul Tour in Budapest - Rather go Blind and Money too tight (to mention)

Mick Hucknall (The lead singer of Simply Red's career made the first tour!) back in Budapest on his American Soul" Tour and again printed his emotional voice into many Hungarians soul. Played some Simple Red's oldies here's one: "Money too tight (to mention)" which is even after 26yrs. still one of his jolly-good tunes, released in the Simple Red era. The "Rather go Blind" is top-on-the-tops as a blues and soul classic, originally sang by Etta James. In '67 Etta James wrote this song together with Ellington "Fugi" Jordan. This song says something to every generation, therefore I believe it will live through for dacades. Both videos were the highlights of the evening. By the ending was in the middle of the crowd of Mick's lovers infront of the stage, so the video is not an MGM shot, but indeed can feel, see the addicted Mick's fans emotions. As Mick mentioned ... Simple Red is the past and now it's him with former 2 musicans and 3 new grand members. Hope many will also enjoy with pleasure this terrific live show. For those who couldn't make it ... see, listen to this awesome concert night. Spot: Papp László Sport Arena - Budapest - Date: March, 25. 2013.
