Outlander Buzz S8 Season End Review Pt 2 (Ep 806-810) w/Spec Guest: Jeff Woodman, Lord John Narrator

Here is the wild Part 2 of the conversation with our friend, Jeff Woodman, actor and narrator of the Lord John Book Series by Diana Gabaldon. (You can find Part 1 as well as our two-part Season 8 Midpoint Show in previous posts or the S8 - Outlander Buzz Collection. Jeff agreed to watch final season and join me for two "specialty" two-part shows for S8 at the midpoint and after the finale. Thank you Jeff! In Part Two of our post finale show, we go off on a few wild and hilarious bunny trails as we meander through the episodes on the back half of S8 as well as the very first premiere ep (101 - Sassenach) which he graciously agreed to watch. (I hoped it would entice him to watch the rest of S1). Jeff shares why he loved "Sassenach" (I knew he would as he loves all things '40s style), and all its connections with the finale. It is a wee bit NSFW as we talk Neil the Cunt (and his apparent sexual relationship with John in the next Lord John book), Sam's ass and nipples (and other body parts), S&M and Jamie's rape, sex scenes of S1, Bawdy Diana, time travel lore, a potential Lord John series (and Jeff's concerns), nature verses nurture and why the back side of the finale was fantastic. We share our favorites scenes with each character, answer submitted Bees questions, discuss the Fanny backstory and much much more. I share a clip of one of my favorite moments of all time from premiere panels. We even talk a little about BOMB as he saw the promo while watching the finale. And I share a few bits and bobs I know about Blessing (Book 10) Jeff brings great insight and knowledge from his career as an actor and many years married to a director. He often will share insights on shots, acting process and other industry buzz. He also will occasionally break out in voices (which I love). Fun and laughter guaranteed. Many thanks to Jeff! 🐝Please like and leave a comment with your own thoughts on our discussion! 🐝Intro - Outro Music - ‪@bearmccreary‬Season 8 Soundtrack 🐝To watch my "In Conversation" with Jeff which opens with a montage I made of all his Lord John Series character voice samples (including Neil the Cunt), you can at this link -"In Conversation" With Jeff Woodman, Voice of the Lord John Series https://www.patreon.com/QueenBeesHive... 🐝The clip I include is from the premiere panel at 92Y for S1 in 2014. This is one of my favorite panels for several reasons. They had just shown the first episode to the audience, and this was the panel that followed. I only include a short 3-minute clip, but if you haven't watched the whole thing, I highly encourage An Outlander Evening with Series Cast, Author, and Producer    • An Outlander Evening with Series Cast, Aut...   #
