THE THING (1982) REACTION - WHO IS THE THING?? | FIRST TIME WATCHING

We finally watched THE THING (1982) and the blood test scene is going to haunt us for a while 🩸 A research team in Antarctica finds a body in the ice, and then something starts copying them. Nobody knows who’s still human, and the film keeps you suspicious of every single character. Kurt Russell as MacReady carries the whole movie, and the blood test is one of the most tense scenes we’ve ever sat through. The effects still hold up, and it’s wild to see a movie that was hated on release become a horror staple. ⚡ Full uncut reactions + early access:   / biingeties   Is The Thing the best John Carpenter movie?
