I made this mug years ago, and would like to bring it back into production. Can I recreate this mug and get the proportions just right?
In this real-time pottery wheel session, I'm working to replicate an existing mug, paying close attention to its width, height, and overall shape. It's a process of making small adjustments, refining the form, and taking the time to get the details right.
One of the things I love about pottery is that the smallest changes can make such a difference. A little more width, a slightly different curve, or a change in the height can completely transform how a mug looks and feels in your hands.
Come spend some time in the studio and watch the process unfold, from shaping the clay to fine-tuning the form.
At Tactile Earth, I make handmade pottery for everyday moments. Subscribe for more pottery wheel sessions, behind-the-scenes studio life, and the process of making things by hand.
