Christ teaches His disciples how to respond when relationships are wounded: first seeking reconciliation personally and charitably, then involving the community when necessary. He also gives His Church the beautiful assurance: “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18:20 The Responsorial Psalm reminds us: “If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” — Psalm 95 May we have hearts open to the voice of God.
