The Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in the world at 634 meters — but is it actually worth visiting? In this video, I walk from Asakusa to the Skytree, show you how to get tickets, what the observation decks are like, and whether it's worth your time (and money) on your Tokyo trip. 📍 Location: Tokyo Skytree, Sumida, Tokyo 🎫 Tickets: Available on the 4th floor 🕐 Opening Times: Opening times change a bit depending on the day and season, but overall it’s usually from 9am to 10pm on the weekends and 10am to 10pm during the week. 🚶 How to get there: Walk from Asakusa via Sumida River Walk (about 25-30 minutes, really nice route) You can take the Tobu Skytree Line from Kitasenju station and exit at Tokyo Skytree Station. Or take the Metro Ginza line from Ueno Station, then change into the Tobu Skytree Line at Asakusa Station to reach the Tokyo Skytree Station. 💡 Tips: Walk up Koume Ushijima-dori Street for great photos without crowds The upper deck (Tembo Galleria) requires a separate timeslot Stay until sunset — the tower lights up at night is genuinely lovely There's a glass floor section you can take your own photos on 📸 Follow my travels: linktr.ee/FlynnOnTour If you enjoyed this video, it would be so amazing if you could leave a like and subscribe!
