Run to Me - Bee Gees (play-along for guitar)

This is a screen-capture video from a TuneLing for "Run to Me" from the album "To Whom It May Concern", by The Bee Gees. This song is also available in a separate TuneLing video for ukulele! Notes: Everyone knows the Bee Gees' disco-era hits from the "Saturday Night Fever" movie soundtrack, but not everyone is old enough to know that they had many giant hits from the mid-60s onward. This one is from 1972, and it's a gem - unusually interesting both for its melody and its uncommon chord patterns. And man, those brothers could sing! Happily, it's really not complicated on either guitar or ukulele, and doesn’t require a lot of explanation. A few pointers are in order though... 1) There are both F# (major) and F#m (minor) chords, in different places - that's not an error, so watch the chord names carefully as you play! 2) On the uke, the F# is simply a G shape slid down by one fret, but it's critical to NOT play (or mute) the fourth string, as shown, for the F#. 3) Also on the uke, we show the D and E chords in the "barre-plus-pinky" form, but you can substitute other shapes for those chords, if you prefer.
