Tom Bombadil | A Tolkien Song from Middle-earth

Hey dol! Merry dol! 🌳🎶 A musical interpretation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s words about Tom Bombadil, set to a gentle indie folk arrangement inspired by the strange and timeless atmosphere of the Old Forest. Beyond the borders of the Shire, where ancient trees crowd the wandering paths, lives Tom Bombadil with Goldberry, the River-daughter. Tom remains one of the most mysterious figures in Tolkien’s Middle-earth, singing his songs while the world beyond his little realm continues to change. For this video I used screenshots captured in The Lord of the Rings Online, transforming them into classic Middle-earth-inspired book illustrations to accompany Tolkien’s words and the music. 🎵 Words by J.R.R.
