Poor Baby! Life Is Rough for Harbor Seal Pup (NOT!)

There were not many birds on the floats today; just one Great Blue Heron and a few Ducks. Instead, I observed a mother Harbor Seal and her pup on the log boom. When you're a Seal, your main job is to nap in the sun all day. Mama does just that, but Junior is having a hard time falling asleep. He can't stop fidgeting s and yawning. He's frustrated, and so is Mama. I think any human parent who has tried to put a toddler down for a nap can probably relate.
