🌿🌸 Rooftop Sweet Taiwan Pink Guava! Harvest in a 15" Grow Bag!, Cut & The Fruit Fly Reality Check 🍐

Welcome back to Terrace Farmer! 🌿🌿🌿 Today, we are harvesting a beautiful Taiwan Pink Guava grown right here in a 15-inch green grow bag.In this video, I take you through the journey of this exotic variety, from thinning the massive flower blooms to the final harvest. This variety is famous for its light-to-medium pink flesh and a unique, mild strawberry-like aroma. However, growing during the monsoon brings a harsh reality: Fruit Flies. I take the harvest indoors for a cut-test to show you exactly what fruit fly damage looks like inside the fruit, and explain why "bagging" or covering your guavas during the rainy season is an absolute must to protect your hard work. (Note: During the video, I accidentally mention the date as July 11, 2025—please note this footage was actually recorded on July 11, 2026!) If you grow fruit trees in containers, this is a crucial lesson in pest management. Let me know your tips for fighting fruit flies in the comments!
