BARE BRICK HOUSE | Architecture Rooted in Nature
Set on a 30-cent sloping plot in Koppam, Malappuram, Bare Brick House is a 3,560 sq. ft. residence by Yuuga Design Collective that explores the relationship between architecture, landscape and everyday living.
Rather than altering the natural terrain, the house responds to its existing levels, creating a seamless balance between privacy, openness and accessibility.
An exposed brick screen defines the architectural identity, filtering natural light, encouraging ventilation and bringing a sense of warmth to the built form.
Inside, earthy materials, lime-washed walls, natural timber, textured finishes and carefully framed views create a calm tropical living environment.
A home shaped by the land, designed around the people who inhabit it.
