2026 April 23. Scrambling up Dragon's Back scramble for the first time. Located on Llechog, Llanberis Pass, Snowdon Range, Snowdonia National Park, Eryri, Wales. Key moments: 00:15 - Groove to get onto the ridge 05:07 - Crux (groove) 12:14 - Crux (crimpy moves on elephant skin textured rock) Dragon's Back is an enjoyable warming-up scramble with the shortest approach in Snowdonia. The approach is even shorter than the walk-in to Little Tryfan:    • Tryfan Fach Scramble   or to Penmaen-bach Arete:    • Penmaen-bach Arête - Scramble with a sea view   It was an incredibly windy day with lots of runny nose sounds.
