Gazipur and Ashulia in Savar remain volatile today due to violence by garment workers. Protests also took place in Narayanganj. In several locations, protesters clashed with the police, and various vehicles—including police cars—were vandalized or set on fire. Commuters faced significant hardship as protesters blocked several points along the Dhaka-Tangail and Dhaka-Mymensingh highways. Both those directly affected and the general public are struggling to understand why the violence persists even after the formation of a wage board. Given the situation, most garment factories in these areas have remained closed. Law enforcement agencies state that the banned Awami League is orchestrating subversive activities in an attempt to destabilize the country. বিজনেস টুডে | Business Today | News | Headlines and Bulletin | 3 PM | 02 November 2026 | Jamuna TV ABOUT JAMUNA TELEVISION Jamuna Television (Jamuna TV) বাংলাদেশের একটি ২৪ ঘণ্টার সংবাদ ও চলতি ঘটনাবিষয়ক টেলিভিশন চ্যানেল। Jamuna Television, also known as Jamuna TV, is a 24-hour news and current affairs television channel in Bangladesh.
