Early morning in Yokohama, Japan. César Franck – Prélude, Choral et Fugue. A piece I absolutely love, though I hadn’t played it in a long time. So there’s a bit of improvisation along the way, here and there. But never mind. It was a beautiful moment, and I’m happy it happened. This piece has been with me throughout my life, somehow always finding its way back to me, no matter how much time passes. Some music just stays with you for a lifetime...
