At 63 years old, this Australian striking coach continues to prove that age is no barrier to fighting back. After enduring Crohn's disease for most of his life, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer just over 2 years ago resulting in major surgery with a full colectomy, ileostomy and 6 months of chemotherapy. The road back has been long and challenging - but the journey didn't end there. Now he's back doing what he loves: following a lifelong passion in Martial Arts; training and coaching in Muay Thai, Muay Boran and Western Boxing, he's here at the Jaopahin Muay Thai Gym in Hua Hin Thailand with Head Coach Kru Tum. His journey is about resilience, discipline, recovery and refusing to give up. It's a personal story of overcoming some of life's toughest challenges and finding the strength to step back into the gym. 63 years old Australian Striking Coach Accredited in Thailand A life of Crohn's disease, Stage 3 Cancer, Major Surgery, chemotherapy - and still fighting.
