PAPER AIRPLANES — Christopher Alan Gilmore | God Is King Music

PAPER AIRPLANES — the first song I ever wrote completely from scratch. I remember sitting in my room, spending days praying, working, and asking God to give me a song. And then came the picture of a paper airplane. A simple piece of paper doesn't look like much. It can be folded, bent, creased, and even thrown away. But in the right hands, it can become something that flies. "He picks me up, folds me tight, Shapes my wings and sets my flight." Sometimes life bends us. Sometimes we feel forgotten, like we don't have anything special to offer. But our setbacks don't have to be the end of our story. God can take what feels broken, reshape it, and give it a new direction. This song was lost — and today it was found. I'm preserving the original recording because its first expression is part of my story. "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) You are not forgotten. Your story isn't finished.
