When God Doesn't Work As We Expect | Dale R. “Hutch” Hutchcraft

How does God keep His promises when life does not unfold the way we expect? Dale R. “Hutch” Hutchcraft explores this question through Isaiah 40:31 and the story of C.S. Lewis and Joy Davidman, considering how our expectations of God can shape the way we respond to grief, suffering, and uncertainty. The message examines three ways God keeps His promises: through divine intervention, through empowering His people to work alongside Him, and through sustaining grace that changes us from the inside out. God's faithfulness does not always mean removing our struggles. Sometimes He gives us the strength to walk through them. Through personal experiences of grief, physical pain, and illness, Hutchcraft encourages us to turn from our expectations of how God should work to trust in His character and nature. Whether we soar, run, or simply walk, our hope is found in the unchanging faithfulness of God.
