Cook Forest State Park - The Forest Primeval, Pt. 1

We're camping at northwestern Pennsylvania's Cook Forest State Park in this episode to experience the beauty of an Old Growth Forest landscape and learn a little about Pennsylvania's conservation heritage. We start with a short narrated drive to tell viewers about the history of the park and some useful tips about the Ridge Campground where we stayed. Then we visit the Log Cabin Inn containing artifacts and interpretive displays about the park before taking a short hike through the forest on a unique "sensory trail," the only one of its kind in the Commonwealth and accessible to all.
