Step inside the magnificent Tomb of Jahangir in Lahore, Pakistan's one of the most remarkable surviving monuments of the Mughal era. In this video, I take you on a journey through the historic Tomb of Jahangir in Shahdara, exploring its grand architecture, beautiful gardens, detailed decorations and the history behind this royal mausoleum. Built under the orders of his son, Emperor Shah Jahan, the tomb was completed around 1637. Its red sandstone façade, decorative marble inlay, four corner minarets and richly ornamented interiors reflect the remarkable craftsmanship of Mughal architecture. But this place is more than a beautiful historic building. It is part of Lahore's Shahdara heritage complex, which also includes the Tomb of Asif Khan and Akbari Sarai. 🏛️ *Location:* Tomb of Jahangir, Shahdara, Lahore, Pakistan 👑 *Historical period:* Mughal Empire 📜 *Emperor:* Jahangir 🎥 *Channel:* Off the Map Join me as we explore this incredible piece of Pakistan's heritage and discover the history hidden within its walls.
