Im walking from Wiedner Hauptstraße to Karlsplatz and hope you are enjoying this walk with me. Wiedner Hauptstraße is in the 4th district of Vienna, the Wieden, and in the 5th district, Margareten. It was named in 1862 after the former Vienna suburb of Wieden and was previously known as Alte Wieden Hauptstraße, Matzleinsdorfer Hauptstraße and Matzleinsdorfer Straße.
