Railfanning BNSF, CN, CSX, and NS in and around Memphis

Stayed Friday night in Walnut Ridge, AR and woke up to the first beauty slamming across the diamond in Hoxie! So I raced West to Portia and got some massive K5LLA action! After that I headed back East (Track South) to Jonesboro just as a SB grain was arriving on the Northside of town. As I raced to the Southside, I noticed the local with a green caboose and loco!!! My original plan all day was to sit in Turrell at River Jct. and watch the BNSF action on the River and Thayer South Subs....but with a major lack of action and my scanner blowing up with Memphis Area traffic, I headed towards Kentucky Street...to find nothing! lol! Just as I was about to give up they started moving again. I got a few shots on the Westside of Memphis, including a transfer from NS coming off of BNSF track onto the CN Memphis Sub towards Johnston!, then the CSX dispatcher started blowing up for the L.A. Main. I missed the first 2 CN SB's but got there in time to see a CSX freight heading to Johnston, a CSX freight leaving UP Sargent heading to Bruceton via Aulon (that is the Ex- NC&StL Cordova Branch in the foreground of that shot!), and finally the hotshot CN intermodal heading North out of Memphis!
