"Scherzino Mexicano" by Manuel Ponce performed in a live concert by Fred Benedetti

From a live concert at the First Presbyterian Church of San Diego on February 27, 2022 featuring repertoire played by Andres Segovia. Several of the pieces for the concert were ones that Fred Benedetti studied and performed for Andres Segovia in a Master Class at USC in 1986. In particular, Segovia had reprimanded the participants about playing too "fast" and asked that they play their pieces "slower". In this instance, to the surprise of the audience and the participants, Segovia told Fred that he was playing too "slow-lento" This brought quite a chuckle from all! This video includes a little snippet from that exchange in 1986.
