Massive 320 cm Rain Tree vs Winch & Stihl MS 881 | Full Technical Felling
Welcome back to the Is_Woko channel. Today, we are bringing you a detailed, step-by-step breakdown of a heavy-duty tree removal project. Our target is a giant rain tree (trembesi) boasting a massive trunk circumference of 320 cm. To safely execute this operation, we brought out our full professional chainsaw lineup: the heavy-duty Stihl MS 881, the high-performance Echo CS 7310SX, and the agile Stihl MS 261.
Felling a giant of this scale requires a strict, methodical arborist workflow to protect the surrounding environment and ensure a clean extraction:
1. Root Digging: We initiated the job by digging around the base of the trunk to completely expose the massive anchor root system.
2. Canopy Pruning: Before destabilizing the base, we sent a climber up to heavily prune the canopy limbs. Eliminating the crown weight is a critical step to prevent the premium timber from splitting or cracking when it impacts the ground.
3. Root Cutting: Once the top weight was balanced and cleared, we systematically severed the exposed anchor roots.
4. Winch Pulling & Final Drop: With the roots cut, we hooked up our heavy-duty winch lines, applied mechanical tension, and pulled the massive giant down to a safe, controlled final drop.
Watch the full, raw technical execution from start to finish! Thank you for supporting our crew!
The trees we fell are legally purchased from local farmers for industrial use and are not sourced from protected forests. These premium logs are bound for Jepara, Central Java, where they will be transformed into luxury solid wood furniture, massive live-edge tables, and world-renowned intricate carvings.
