Joint Town Council & Southbridge Planning Board Public Hearing - 9/16/2026. In accordance with the provisions of MGL Chapter 40A, Section 5, the Southbridge Town Council and Southbridge Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the MacKinnon Council Chambers, 41 Elm Street, Southbridge, MA. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments and consider modifying the Southbridge Zoning Bylaw Sections 8.5: Solar as of Right and 8.6: Battery Energy Storage Systems, as well as adding a temporary moratorium for data centers.
