Hai Hello peoples Namaste Aadhab Welcome to enchappali vlogs with warangal brothers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁:- Located around 60 kilometres away for Hyderabad, Rachakonda Fort dates back to the 14th century and was built by Recherla Singama Nayak who belonged to the Padma Nayaka dynasty. The fort marks the shift of the rulers from the capital of Anumagallu to Rachakonda. The Padmanayakas served the Kakatiyas from the 12th century- starting from Rudra Deva until the demise of Pratapa Rudra. In 1430, the Padmanayakas lost their power over Rachakonda and the place was ruled by Bahamanis. Today, what is left of the fort is a two-floor structure supported by monolith formations. The fort area has many ancient temples including the Ramalingeshwara Swamy temple, Munmandabam temple and the Veerabhadra Swamy temple among 18 others. Most of the temples that lie inside the fortress wall are dedicated to Lord Shiva. From the architectural point of view, the fort’s highlight is its Cyclopean Masonry style (where no mortar is used to hold the rocks together) that dates back to the medieval times.
