Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Death Egg mk.II Zone (Act 1) (SNES Remix)

The beginning of the end... Sonic 4's soundtrack...admittedly isn't all that good, but I feel like that's mostly due to the instruments that were used, rather than the actual composition. Regardless of the reasoning, I think this song is the highlight of the game's soundtrack! It's very somber sounding, and also has a sense of urgency, almost as if you're in a race against time to save Little Planet from Eggman's tyranny (yet again). Again, say what you will about Sonic 4 and it's OST, but this is definitely one of, if not THE best song in the duology! Hopefully this remix could convey the feelings that I mentioned this song has, but you'll have to listen for yourself in order to decide that. Enjoy!
