No Power on the Pole? THIS Switch Fixes Everything — FastCabling Outdoor PoE Pass-Through Review

Looking to power multiple outdoor devices where there’s absolutely no AC power? The FastCabling Outdoor PoE Pass-Through Switch might be the perfect solution. In today’s video, I’m previewing this rugged 8-port unmanaged switch that takes a single 802.3bt PoE input (up to 95W) and delivers 802.3af/at PoE passthrough on up to seven ports, making it ideal for surveillance, outdoor Wi-Fi, and remote installations. I’ll walk through real-world use cases, lab testing, VLAN pass-through behavior, and the exact setup required to deploy this switch at the edge of your network. If you’re installing cameras in a parking lot, on a pole, or anywhere with no convenient power source, this video will help you decide whether this outdoor switch fits your project. #PoE #OutdoorNetworking #SecurityCameras #PoESwitch #FastCabling 00:00 - INTRODUCTION 00:34 - WHAT IS THIS SWITCH 01:17 - REAL-WORLD USE CASE 02:16 - UPCOMING INSTALL 02:31 - LIVE DEMONSTRATION 02:44 - WHAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE 802.3BT POWER? 03:07 - CLOSE LOOK AT THE INJECTOR 03:25 - LAB SETUP 03:57 - VLAN PASS-THROUGH TEST 05:52 - WRAP UP — If you found this helpful, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and drop a comment with your outdoor network questions!
