Forgot to mention: You might want to leave the pre-amp lower than you normally would on the QU console so there is plenty of headroom (try -10dB on the meter, giving 28dB headroom). Use the digital trim (gain) on the SQ to get you back to where you want to be. The physical QU [b]inputs[/b] to SQ channels are: (QU) monitor out (direct out 1-16) [follows global direct out setting] = sLink input 21-36 (SQ) route sLink input channels (21-36) to inputs sockets (processing channels) 1-16 [also double patch for more funsies]. Steps: 1) (QU) start with blank scene 2) (QU) set gains & label channels ip01-ipxx 3) (QU) make sure monitor outs (direct outs) are set to the input channels you want to use 4) (QU) make sure global direct out is set to PreHPF & not to follow fader or mute 5) (SQ) set input clock source to sLink (setup, audio, audio sync) 6) (SQ) input socket 1 = sLink channel 21, input socket 2 = sLink channel 22, etc 7) (SQ) mix channels normally :)
