Synchro-Only White Forest vs Atlantean Mermail (5-Card Hand vs 6-Card Hand Festival)

I doubt i had it anyway, but losing to time always sucks! Obviously negating the big atlantean did nothing effectively, i guess waiting to negate the print woulda been the play, since it would be chain blocked, or would it? Prince is a mandatory effect and The Storming Atlantean isn't, but either way, i would need to deal with the bounce attempt there, i feel like despite the card difference, i had all i needed to win and just used my interraction inefficiently! Maybe Black Goat Laughs on Abysspike?
